March marked a significant event in the life of Perrysburg Animal Care.   After 41 years Dr North has decided to slow down a bit and has sold the practice to Dr. Brooke West.  Dr. West also owns the West Toledo Animal Hospital.    Dr. North, meanwhile, has become an employee and will continue to work his regular hours at Perrysburg Animal Care.   Dr. West (after her maternity leave),Dr. Anne Bergstrom and Dr. Steve Huff will be covering   the hours that Dr. North is not in the office.  Wer hope that the Drs Hours will be stabilized by mid June.

Congratulations to Dr. West and Her husband Dr. Steve Barthelmas on the birth of their son Landon!

Former PAC employee Jen Mawer and her husband Dorian Gray welcomed a son, Merlin, on April 18th, 2011.

Dr. North has been active with the Holiday With Heart Charity Gayla for the past 4 years.  The 2010 Gayla, held the first weekend in December, was a rousing success.  Participation was increased by 62% and the money raised for charity was more than doubled.  The money raised by this charity is earmarked for individuals affected by the HIV virus in Northwest Ohio.  The primary recipients in 2010 were the HIV treatment Center at the UT Medical School and  ARC (The Aids Resource Center).

PAC has discontinued the relationship with VetCentric Online Pharmacy.  We hope that our greater purchasing power will allow us to provide products at comparable prices to our clients.  Please be patient while we reconfigure our purchasing strategy.
